Often, yes. When a site needs both — for example a new building that needs a construction-stage certificate while the surrounding site is being graded — we plan the GNSS work and the flight for the same mobilization, using the same control. Whether that is practical depends on site access, airspace and the construction schedule, which we review before quoting.

What vertical datum do you use in Tampa Bay?

Elevation certificates and elevation surveys are referenced to NAVD88, which is the datum used on current FEMA flood maps. If older plans or permits on your project use a different datum, tell us at the start — we document which datum each value is in so nothing gets mixed between drawings.
